The HI736 Checker® HC (Handheld Colorimeter) provides a simple, accurate and cost-effective way to measure phosphorus in marine systems including reef tanks. Phosphorus is an important parameter to measure in aquaculture and aquariums; levels that are too high can lead to extensive algae growth, depleted dissolved oxygen levels, and ultimately can be fatal to many types of fish and aquatic life. Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, the HI736 provides quick, accurate results in four easy steps:
HI736-11 is a high-quality set of calibration standards that allows users to validate the Phosphorus Ultra Low Range Checker® HC – HI736. The HI736-11 includes one sealed cuvette for zero ppb phosphorus and one cuvette that is tinted to an equivalent 100 +/- 10 ppb phosphorus sample @ 25°C. The calibration check set is produced in Hanna Instruments state-of-the-art manufacturing facility using reagent grade chemicals in a temperature controlled environment.
The HI736-25 are the replacement reagents for the HI736 Phosphorus Ultra Low Range Checker® HC. These high-quality reagents are manufactured in Hanna Instruments state-of-the-art facility and are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date on each packet for traceability.
